Chambers named best TMC at the Business Travel Awards!

Chambers Travel Management (GlobalStar UK) has been named Best Travel Management Company at the prestigious Business Travel Awards for 2013 in recognition of its outstanding work as a TMC.

The award was presented at a glittering ceremony in London this week that was attended by 1200 key players in the UK business travel industry and Chambers beat off stiff competition to take the top prize. The Business Travel Awards are recognised as “the industry’s benchmark for excellence”. The influential panel of judges comprised senior buyers and leading business travel journalists and the rigorous judging process has made the Business Travel Awards the most coveted accolades available. To win the Best TMC award, Chambers impressed the judges in numerous areas: “Chambers has a very impressive growth record, a very impressive client list and a very, very impressive CSR programme. Their expansion into the SME pan European market, showing a high level of confidence in their capability, is to be commended.”

Commenting on his company’s success, Chris Thelen, Chambers’ CEO said: “I am so delighted to have been recognised for our category expertise by an illustrious panel of buyer judges. We work incredibly hard for our clients and our team deserve this accolade.”

Chambers was also shortlisted in the category Best Specialist Business Travel Product/Provider for iApprove v2 automated travel approval product for offline and online transactions. Developed in-house, it is part of Chambers’ Qi technology suite of ten powerful tools. iApprove is an easy-to-use tool that provides a consistent approval process regardless of booking methodology or location. The original version of iApprove was singled out for praise when it won the Best Specialist Business Travel Product 2011.
