Headquartered in Halifax Nova Scotia, we have grown steadily through both acquisition and expansion since opening the first storefront in 1949 in Halifax becoming the largest privately-owned travel company in Canada. Over the past 5 years, Maritime Travel has continued its expansion by purchasing over 30 travel companies throughout Canada and adding $45 million worth of corporate accounts to our portfolio. Currently Maritime Travel has 90 locations across Canada trading under Maritime Travel and LeGrow’s Travel (Newfoundland and Labrador), offering a full service, high-touch experience with a focus on both Business Travel and Leisure Travel. Pre-Pandemic we generated over $350 million in annual sales (2019) and currently employ over 400 people across the country.

Gary Gaudry
President
Gary reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the overall operations of the travel business. When Gary joined Maritime Travel, the company was only in Atlantic Canada with 41 branches and $130M in sales. Today the travel business over $340M CAD in sales; 90 travel branches across Canada with offices in every province except Saskatchewan and over 400 employees. Prior to joining Maritime Travel in 2001, Gary was the Managing Director, Travel for Thomas Cook Canada.
Kathy Coyle
VP Business Travel
With over 29 years in the travel industry, Kathy reports to the President and is responsible for the sales and account management programs and has been with Maritime Travel for 28 years where she started her career in Marketing.
Don Dauphinee
Director, Business Process & IT
Don reports to the President and directs overall IT strategy for the company, including software development initiatives, security, PCI compliance, infrastructure, and support. He has over 17 years’ experience in IT with a focus on software development and project/team management and IT strategy. He has been with Maritime Travel for over 11 years.
Valerie Rouse
Director of Branch Operations
With 35 years in the travel industry, she started her career as a corporate agent then moved into supervisory and management roles. Valerie is responsible for service delivery and day to day operations of our corporate branches, working closely with the branch managers for both full service and online bookings.
