The deal leverages the significant purchasing power of GlobalStar’s worldwide network to provide exclusive pricing to Partners
TRIPBAM, the global provider of air and hotel fare/rate reshopping, auditing, benchmarking and sourcing, today announced a deal with GlobalStar Travel Management. The agreement provides GlobalStar Partners with enterprise-level access to TRIPBAM hotel rates and air fare, and rate reshopping services.
“We have always believed that technology is an enabler. We work hard to find the technology that works best for our clients and our Partners,” said Julian Russell, Executive Director of IT and Supplier Relations at GlobalStar. “Providing TRIPBAM’s fare and rate reshopping technology to our Partners means better deals and greater value to our clients.”
TRIPBAM rate and fare reshopping provides companies and travellers with a fully automated service that monitors existing air and hotel reservations to see if prices change between the time of booking and prior to travel. If a lower fare or rate is found, TRIPBAM automatically rebooks the flight or hotel reservation to deliver savings to the client.
In addition to reshopping, the agreement also gives GlobalStar network partners access to other TRIPBAM solutions, including negotiated discounts, Reshop Analytics, Air and Hotel Intelligence benchmarking, Contract Audit, and Smart Share Shift.
“Cost savings are a 2023 priority across the board for companies and travel providers,” said TRIPBAM managing director for EMEA Peter Grover. “This arrangement benefits GlobalStar Partners, customers, and travellers by reducing costs without disrupting travellers — something that’s critical as airfares and rates continue to climb.” The agreement is now live.
