Sunway Travel was incorporated in 1986 and joined GlobalStar in 2004. Before the acquisition by Sunway City Berhad in 1994, the company was known as First Travel & Tours (PJ) Sdn Bhd. Its name was subsequently changed to Sunway Travel Sdn Bhd on 5th August 1994 and it takes pride in being a member of the Sunway Group. Sunway Travel has an authorized capital of RM5 million with a paid-up capital of over RM1.14 million. As a dynamic travel and tour operator in Malaysia, Sunway Travel offers a wide spectrum of travel services which includes corporate airline ticketing, worldwide hotel reservations, travel insurance, airport check-in service, incentive group travel, cruises and independent and group tours to any part of the world. Sunway Travel has over the years built a strong and extensive network of industry partners around the world. With this strong business relationship within the travel and tourism industry, it enjoys many benefits such as preferred rates and privileged services, which it extends to its clients.
