World Travel System extends the GlobalStar network into Japan
GlobalStar Travel Management has extended its network into Japan with the announcement of World Travel System (WTS) as its newest Partner.
James Stevenson, CEO at GlobalStar comments: “I am delighted to welcome World Travel System to our network. Like every GlobalStar Partner, WTS brings intimate knowledge of its local market, a reputation for meticulous service, agility and flexibility. Together we can now guarantee our clients that same degree of consistency and support for all their Japanese travel needs.”
Dhimant Thakker, President and CEO at World Travel System comments: “We are very pleased to be joining the GlobalStar Travel Management network and proud of our status as newest Partner. Together we will be able to drive new business, deploy new technology, improve supplier deals and really benefit from, and contribute to, the breadth and knowledge that exists in the GlobalStar network.”
“WTS is the latest of six new Partners joining our network in the last eleven months,” adds James Stevenson. “We are seeing more and more significant travel companies from around the world looking for the ways and means of benefitting from global reach and expertise. All of our Partners are substantial, significant businesses in their home markets. Collectively our clients and our businesses benefit from greater bench strength in everything from economies of scale to new clients. It comes as no surprise to me to see in WTS the very same characteristics that all of our members have – intimate market knowledge, real flexibility, true agility, and the ability to work naturally and effectively at pace. In the new world of travel these skills are vital for corporates as they operate against a changing ecosystem.”
