GlobalStar Travel Management announces that it has been appointed by Petrofac, a leading service provider to the international oil and gas industry, as one of two new travel partners to service its global travel requirements.
The new providers will support all travel requirements for the 12,750-employee company which has projects and operations in 29 countries across the world. Following a competitive tender process, Airlink will provide travel management services for employees in the the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, while GlobalStar will service the rest of the world.
Petrofac Group Director of Human Resources, Des Thurlby, said: “We set out in 2018 to evaluate our entire travel management programme. Petrofac’s new travel programme has been implemented with efficiency and cost optimisation in mind by Global Travel Manager Stephanie Rothman, who joined the company last October. Stephanie is a travel specialist with over 25 years’ experience in the industry, and has a proven track record in providing strategic travel management advice and solutions.
